Who would have thought that a pub of ruin could be pleasant? this is undoubtedly the case with mazel tov, a spectacular pub of ruins in the vii district of budapest that has caught the typical physicist and the encauzamiento of the pubs of ruin and made it something sophisticated and glamorous. it is located in an old warehouse that has become with a huge skylight, plants in pots and retro illumination to create a cozy space to drink, chat, hang out or watch a movie or concert in its inner courtyard have a long list of Hungarian cocktails and palinks, but the most surprising was its list of non-alcoholic drinks; homemade lemonades, ice creams made with fresh fruit and herbs. The kitchen serves Arabic-inspired food from the same equipment that carries the hummo bar (other place you have to try if you are in budapest). I recommend the hummo with salted mushrooms, I had never considered the combination before, but it was excellent in general, mazel tov is an amazing place. if you are looking for a great place to start the night or a romantic and quiet dinner between the week, mazel tov is your place.
